"today my last day as volunteer, sad to go, because I have the feeling I just got started and interaction with the lions is still improving. It's a fine day today anyway, which started with the 2N lion walk (my favorite lions). Nkoya is the most beautiful, with dark spots and Namwala is the sweetest one. After that, another lion walk! On a client walk with 2KN. The lions behaved well, but there were two shots and loud noise from an elephant. Fortunately, the lions were quite relaxed under this.
And then, after lunch, the 4S got their first real meat part of 1 Kg (without milk). Jacky and Andrea were very excited about this and looked intensly how the lions held their meat. After this, I go on a third walk with the 4N's, what a lion day! Would be very special too!
It was a great experience to be here, I definitely like to do more volunteering jobs somewhere in Africa. I'd like to thank everyone who made this possible."
